Sunshine Coast Backpackers

The Sunshine Coast is a haven for all backpackers that are making their way along the east coast of Australia. Located just one hour’s drive north from Brisbane you really don’t have to drive far to enjoy one of the best destinations on the Queensland coast.

From dusk until dawn and then on through the night you can find so many adventurous things to see and do, and then come night time you can part with the best of them. The Sunshine Coast has everything from wonderful hostels, activities, attractions, beautiful beaches, surfing and shopping. You can spend you days either lazing on the pristine beaches or jumping on board with one of the many tours that operate out of the area.

From where ever you do decide to base yourself, jump on one of the frequent transit buses that will take you to where ever you want to go. Running non-stop all through the day and into the night it is one of the best ways to get around. Take a bus trip to the Blackall Ranges or ride the bus to Caloundra to spend some time at the beaches nearby. Noosa is always a great day trip for all, with the Everglades tours and 4WD adventures, National Parks, shopping and dining.

No matter what time of day it is there is always something happening somewhere, from live entertainment in a pub to markets or surfing competitions on the bluff. Wander the streets and see what you can find and then get ready for a night of dancing and entertainment. There are so many clubs, pub, lounge bars and nightclubs that you can meet up with your friends at, and have a great night out.

The Sunshine Coast boasts an array of attractions that you can visit from Australia Zoo, the Blackall Ranges with its beautiful parklands and waterfalls, pristine beaches, fantastic surfing conditions and weather so perfect all you want to do is go exploring. All are great fun, with a number including education about our native animals, plant life and marine environments. Other great Sunshine Coast attractions include Aussie World, The Big Pineapple, Underwater World and the historic Eumundi Markets.
